The need for high data transmission rates is growing continuously as a result of increasing decentralization in the industrial environment. The M12 X-coded connector was developed to ensure reliable transmission of up to 10 Gbit/s in industrial environments with Cat. 6A performance.

Waterproof push-pull connectors can withstand the harsh environments found in mechanical engineering applications. But for instance they are also suitable for use in medical devices. Yamaichi Electronics has unveiled a concept designed for up to 5,000 mating cycles. Easy assembly and improved reliability characterise this T-series, which enables data rates of up to 10 Gbps in harsh conditions.

In the Product News 2021 CONEC provides an overview of new connectors of the product groups M8x1, M12x1, HDSCS and M12x1 panel mount connectors. In addition to a variety of connectors for all current standards, CONEC‘s particular strength is the integrated moulding of components and assemblies as well as in the development of customized solutions.

To round off the range of ready-made BUS cables, CONEC has included patch cords in its product range that are manufactured with an industrial Ethernet cord with a stranded wire cross-section of AWG22.

With SNAP IN, Weidmüller is revolutionising connection systems and bringing them to a new level. Flexible, stranded wires without crimped-on wire-end ferrules can be easily inserted into the open connection point.

At the SPS, CONEC presented the new M12x1 connector series with bayonet quick locking. With the three-point bayonet locking, it is possible to lock the connection manually with a 90‑degree turn. Direct tactile and acoustic feedback is provided after the connector is locked.

Yamaichi Electronics has expanded its Y‑Circ M12‑product portfolio with a new field assembly connector for 10‑Gigabit Ethernet applications.

The CONEC connector series IP67 RJ45 with bayonet locking is now completely available with Cat 6A performance (data rates up to 10 Gbit/s). The portfolio now also includes inline adapters and modules with PCB for connecting free lines with Cat 6A.
